So you got some of the basics down for Camtasia's Recorder, then you right click on the little blinking ball down by the clock and wonder what all that stuff is? Effects? Options? What are these and what do they do???

Well that's what this page is all about. First thing we need to do is understand the things listed in Options are where you set the Effects up. So if you start up an Effect and it's not what you want, you'll have to go to Options to change it. I know you may not understand what I mean, but you will in a few moments.

Let's look at the Options window first. To get there we just right click the Red Ball or the red/green blinking ball if you are actually recording.

This screen is divided as you can see. We are interested in bottom only for this page. No matter which you click on in the bottom section, the same box will pop up, just on a different tab. Just click the tab you are curious about and have a look.
