While User Account Control is a good feature for many people, some people will want to be able to turn it off. Here are simple directions on how to do that.
First click on Start then click on run. If the run command does not appear in main menu, right click the start button and click on properties. This will open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
On this menu click the customize button. In the window that opens up scroll down and put a check beside run command.
Now you can click on start and then click on run.
This will open the run box where you type in msconfig and then click ok.
This will open System Configuration Utilty. With this open click on the tools tab and the scroll down to disable UAC.

Once diable UAC is highlighted go down and click Launch then restart the pc. That's all there is to it. Be warned that the security center will warn you everytime you turn the computer on that it is turned off.
